The Southern UT Sweepstakes Club December Meeting/Party

Hello Sweepers!

I am so sorry it has been so long since the last post. Our everyday life has gotten busier and busier, but looks like we may be able to slow down after the fist of the year and get back to our all important hobby of sweeping and winning! Not that we ever really stopped but it has been crazy!

The Southern UT Sweepstakes Club will be having their annual Christmas Meeting/Party on December 4th at 1:00 PM. That is a Saturday and we will be meeting at The Meadows 400 E 950 S in St. George. Please email me at bubbaadams5@aol.com if you need directions.

This will be a hot appetizer buffet so bring your favorite. Dessert and drinks will be provided.

We will be having our yearly Grand Prize Stamp Drawing. Good luck everyone! Someone different has won the last three years! I am exited to see what happens this year!

This would be a fun meeting for a friend or neighbor to attend so they can take a look at our win books and get the idea of how much fun we have enjoying this great hobby.

Hope to see you all on Dec 4th. For more info please email me at bubbaadams5@aol.com...good luck whammies coming your way! Paula :)

Overseas Coupon Program

Hello Sweepers,

We are nearing $500,000.00 in coupons donated!

As most of you know The Southern UT Sweepstakes Club contributes expired coupons to The Overseas Coupon Program. We have been contributing for almost 3 years. We have an awesome total.

The Overseas Coupon Program was started by a soldier that saw a need and had a vision. Coupons being used by our military families overseas are extended for up to 6 months past the expiration date. What a great opportunity for those of us at home to give.

Our grand total for coupons sent is over the last two and a half years is almost a half million dollars. We have two bases in Germany and one in Japan. The military families are very grateful or any and all contributions.

For anyone interested in a club charity this would be the one. You are using something that is going to get thrown away or recycled. The coupons raises the standard of living for US military families overseas so its a big win all the way around.

Where possible we use any of the unexpired coupons we receive for The Dove Center, The Hope Center and Dixie Care and Share.

This may sound time consuming for a hobby club. Any work concerning charities is all voluntary and not mandatory to belong to the club. You put in as much or as little as you want or your time allows. We have turned into the little club that could!!!!

If you are interested in learning more about the hobby if Sweepstaking call me or send me an email. I am always ready to talk sweeps. If you would like to know more about the OCP or any of our charities please call or email. I am happy to give you all the information.....Good Luck Whammies Coming Your Way....Paula.

SOUTHERN UTAH SWEEPSTAKES CLUB

The Southern UT Sweepstakes Club is now three years old, founded in February 2007. We are a hobby club as well as a community service club. By way of description we enter and win national, regional and local sweepstakes, giveaways and contests. With over 31 years of experience I teach our club members how enter, win, avoid scams and avoid mistakes beginners in this fun hobby make. To date we have a combined $150,000.00 in wins since the club was founded. Our members are now great at teaching anyone else how to enter and win!

We meet once a month to learn about "sweeping" and trade ideas, work on our sweeping supplies, talk about our wins and catch up on all the latest sweepstaking news.

As far as community service goes we donate to several non-profit groups. In lieu of dues we ask our members to bring non-perishable foods to our monthly meetings to donate to Dixie Care & Share. We also donate to The DOVE Center, The Hope Center, and have adopted three overseas military bases for The Overseas Coupon Program. Manufacturers have agreed to extend the expirations dates of coupons up to six months for our military families oveseas. We, as a club have sent almost a half million dollars in coupons to our three bases over the last two and a half years.

All donations are appreciated but not mandatory to belong to the club. If you think you might be interested in finding out more about this hobby please email me at bubbaadams5@aol.com. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and introuduce you to this fun hobby. Good luck whammies coming your way! Paula
